Lifestyle Newborn Photographer in Fishers, Indiana

My greatest adventure was bringing you home <3

The years have gone by for many of my clients and all of a sudden it seems like a lot of them have been starting to have families…which means…newborn photography sessions! Now you all know me, I don’ted do any super complicated baby photos, just lots of cuddling and capturing real life. Luckily we got this little one to sleep to get some good cuddling shots in at the end of the session. I actually like scheduling newborn sessions at a couple of weeks after birth when babies are a bit more awake so we get a full range of all those cute baby faces <3

“And so the adventure begins…”

One of the most fun things about being a wedding photographer for so long (has it really been almost eleven years? Because I do not feel like it has been that long!) is that your wedding couples start to grow their families. They decide to put away the “carefree” lifestyle of non-parent-dom and strap in to this crazy roller coaster. It makes me really happy…unreasonably happy some might say…to get to be a part of such an amazing time!

I approach newborn photography in a little bit different way than some photographers, although it is getting more popular lately. I photography Lifestyle newborn photography sessions, which means I may tell you where to sit or what rooms have the best light, but generally the only posing prompts I give you are to cuddle and love your new baby….which is never trouble!

I want to capture as much real life as possible. Newborns are only so small for so long and before you know it, this time in your life is going to be over. I am convinced that babies grow at ten times the rate of adults, haha. They’ll be toddling around, getting into trouble, and talking your ear off before you know it!

If you are looking for newborn photographers in Noblesville, Indiana or know someone expecting their next little one, I would love it if you passed my website along! These are quickly becoming one of my favorite things to photograph. There is just something so wonderful about everyday life and the upheaval of something new crashing into each other that makes me really happy. I guess you can say that I enjoy chaos on a deep level, haha!

Newborn Photography in Fishers, Indiana - Lamaster

“As soon as I saw you, I knew a grand adventure was about to happen.”

I photographed Quincy and Derrick two years ago when they got married and was so happy when I got the email that they were expanding their family. Weddings are fun and all, but there is just something great about the chaos that comes with brand new parents.

We did their newborn photos in Fishers, Indiana at their parents house so it was extra special to be able to include grandparents in their session. I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking into newborn photographers in Fishers to chat with their newborn photographer to see if it would be an option to include grandparents. I feel like a lot of us lifestyle newborn photographers would totally be up for including family!

Being new parents is stressful. I approach newborn photography sessions in a very laid back way. There are no hard time limits and I always go by how the baby is feeling. Sometimes they get cranky and need to take a break. Just like adults! And that is totally okay! We never rush.

Feedings, diaper changes and a few tears are all a part of parenthood and I photograph if all. My newborn photography sessions are not just about getting a couple photos of your new family but also capturing a true snapshot of your life. It may seem like it’s all you will ever know right now, but soon enough your little bundle will be a walking, then they’ll be riding bikes in the driveway and then they will be heading off to their first day of school and you’ll look back and say “Gosh, were they ever really that small?” and “haha, remember that funny face they’d make?” “Remember how tired we were, but how we pushed through?” “Look at how all of our hard work has paid off…”
